Mike and Georgiann Gullickson of
Living Water International minister by drilling wells and installing water
filters in poor and depressed villages.
After a clean supply of water is established, Georgiann, who is a nurse,
treats the children for
parasites. By meeting the physical
need for clean water the Gullicksons have a natural opening to share the
living water of Jesus Christ. MidWest Missionair delivered
medical supplies and truck parts to the Gullicksons on our
first flight south in February 2003. . |

On March 21 MidWest
Missionair left with a group of volunteers from The Evangelical
Free Church of Winfield, KS. When we
left, we thought that we would be
helping Mike drill a new well, but upon arrival in Honduras, we found that
Evelyna’s house was almost finished and that our small group was needed to
finish off some details. So we spent
the week helping with details such a hanging doors, screening windows, and
building a septic system. See the
Winfield EFree web site for the details of the part they
took in finishing Evelyna's house. |

Mike was using volunteers to build a
house for Evelyna, a lady with nine children who has been left to raise them
herself. While we were there in
February, a group from western Canada was laying concrete blocks for the
house. We knew that we would be back in March so we visited the site to get
some background information. The project is a prime example of God
coordinating the work of many independent groups to accomplish his
purpose. See
Mike’s newsletter for that part of the story. |
