Aircraft Facelift Project |
|
The painting project got under way on schedule in December and as you can see it is well along. We found that there were up to five coats of paint in some places which had to be removed. This was more work than we had anticipated but volunteers from Heartland Community Church in Overland Park, KS came forth and helped get the rest of the paint off. This has allowed a detailed inspection of the fuselage. Some minor cracks were found and are now being repaired. |

Will You Help to Put Us Over The Top? |

· Finishing our Aztec aircraft would have cost over $10,000 if we had done it through a commercial aircraft paint shop.
· Because of the hard work of our volunteers and students we will complete the project for less that half of this amount.
· Will your please put us over the top?
· The table to the right is all we need to complete the project.
· Will you please help us purchase one of these items. |
